He Got Rid Of the Used Iseries Servers
Computers and Hardware August 27th, 2009My parents thought it would be a good idea to buy a failing computer graphics company. My dad thought that it would be a good opportunity to secure an investment into his kid’s future. If it was failing with the current owners, I had no idea how he would make it start to prosper since he had no experience.
He started making changes by getting rid of the used iseries servers that they had and upgrading to new pseries servers. That was probably a good move since the old servers were having a hard time keeping up with the demand. I suggested that he improve the website also, and he hired a company to make it look fresh and new.
He also took my advice when it came to replacing all of the used ibm computers with new ones that could probably aid in the creation of the graphics themselves. The used ibm computers that were there are supposedly from a different company that went out of business about ten years ago.
After putting in the new pseries servers, improving the website and trashing all of the used ibm computers for better ones, my parents graphics business is booming. Our whole family has jumped on board to make it work.
